This is an unscheduled update regarding your server or services at Zeecom Technologies. If your server runs cPanel, we have temporarily prevented access to the cPanel interface, WHM and Webmail in response to a request from cPanel as a security precaution.

cPanel is the control panel software that runs on your server with us. Today a vulnerability was responsibly disclosed to cPanel related to authentication. We were made aware of this approximately 5 hours ago and immediately blocked access to those ports and disabled cPanel and WHM on all managed servers with us. As this did not affect your website or emails we did not notify you via email then.

An update has just been sent by cPanel that requests us to block webmail ports also. We have now blocked these ports which has taken your webmail offline. I am emailing out because this will cause disruption to you if you use webmail. As soon as a patch is released (cPanel will release one shortly) we will update your server and bring cPanel and webmail back online. Emails will not be lost and your mail clients will continue to work.
